Hershey's Chocolate World is the chocolate factory where you can take the free tour ride to find out how chocolate is made while listening to Hershey music, and sometimes you even get a free chocolate bar when you get off the tour. Of course there is a large gift shop so you can get whatever chocolate you want right there. If there is such a thing as "fresh chocolate", then that is the place to get it.
For October, Hersheypark puts on an event called Hersheypark in the Dark.
Friday and Saturday tend to be the busiest days, so if you can go during the week it is better. Bring spare clothes as there is plenty of opportunity to get soaked from one of the water rides or raft rides.
