Plan Disney World Trip

Plan Disney World Trip Disney World Trip

So you are planning a Disney World trip to Orlando, Florida for your family. There is so much to do on the Disney property alone, that you will never run out of ideas. That is why planning the trip is so important because each family will have different wants and needs for their trip.

We just visited the parks again September, 2009 and are reviewing our latest experiences here on our main Kidstravel.tv website. DisneyWorld Orlando offers many hotels and resorts on their massive property from budget to high end. If you are on a tighter budget, there are some great deals now to travel to Disney cheaper than ever. You can stay at one of their budget hotels including the Pop Century Hotel and use the Disney busses to get around.

Plan a Disney World trip based on which days you will want to see which parks. This will help you in deciding which restaurants to reserve ahead of time, especially if you are on the Disney Dining Plan (purchased in some Disney travel packages that may include air, hotel, Disney Dining and Theme park passes).

The main parks to see at DisneyWorld Florida are the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood (formerly MGM), Disney's Animal Kingdom. The two water parks are great fun: Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach.

Downtown Disney is it's own area with shops, restaurants, movie theater, Cirque Du Soleil and Disney Quest; an all-inclusive 5 level indoor arcade with many interactive features including virtual rollercoaster and an interactive Pirates of the Caribbean adventure.

These pages will provide further details on each component of your trip along with our ratings and reviews on the Disney resorts and restaurants in order to make the most of your trip.

You can chose your own theme or focus for the trip; whether you want to visit all the parks and get an overview of all that Disney has to offer, or whether you want to venture into one of the behind the scenes tours or book Disney Dining with Characters all the way to collecting stamps in your Disney Passport from each country in Epcot or trading Disney pins across all of the parks, your stay will be as enjoyable as you plan for, so here is to helping you get the information you need to plan your Disney World trip.

Many activities you will chose depends on the ages and interests of your party. Note that some smaller travellers may have height limits as to what rides they can get on, so check ahead to avoid disappointment in line. All rides with restrictions will have a signpost where kids can measure their own height so make sure they can ride before waiting in any ride lines.
