Tips for having a great day at Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida
The Hollywood Studios - formerly MGM Theme Park in Walt Disney World has many fun rides and attractions.
Get a park planning guide that lists times and attractions when you come into the park. The park usually opens at 9 a.m. and closes at different times throughout the season.
You can check times for the parade schedule to assure a good spot and if you are staying until the evening, don't miss the Fantasmic performance. On longer nights, there are 2 performances of Fantasmic with the second one being alot less crowded.
At the end of Hollywood Boulevard you will find the sorcerer's hat under which you can also find a pin trading store for Disney Pin Trading. That is also the location for several of the daily performances including High School Musical 3.
The Block Party Bash Parade takes over the whole street for a music filled block party.
For the upcoming holidays the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights is hosted at the Hollywood/MGM Park.
This intensive light display features 3-D and animated displays, including a Giant Santa Clause and giant Mickey Mouse. Just like in the Magic Kingdom, it also snows in Florida at the Disney Hollywood Theme Park.
