Travelling to Miami Florida
There is lots for kids to do in Miami including a visit to Miami Seaquarium and a stroll along Miami Beach.
- From Miami you can depart on cruises to the Caribbean and beyond, visit the Florida Everglades, Snorkel the reefs of Biscayne National Park, Children's Museum or even visit the Miami Metrozoo or Museum of Science and Natural History

Watson Island hosts a tropical zoo kids love to visit called Parrot Jungle Island. You can watch shows or get close to monkeys, birds, large lizards, parrots and wild creatures.
Another outdoorsy activity in the Miami area is Sunny Isles Oleta River State Park where you can rent bikes, kayaks and canoes and boats.
If you are into snorkeling or diving, Pennekamp Park has snorkeling and scuba diving outings featuring the living coral reefs.
Key West is but a day trip away and the Upper Keys are the closest to give you a flavor of this long thin piece of the U.S.A. lined with hotels and beaches.
A simple tour boat that goes out on Biscayne Bay. Fun ways to see both the city and the bay is by amphibious bus run by Duck Tours. There is also a daily sailing of the EL Loro Pirate Ship departing from Bayside in this bright red pirate ship.
Any way you slice it, have some fun in the sun on Miami Beach.
