Kids Travel to Atlanta Georgia
Atlanta is a major airline hub and home to many family attractions including the Fernbank Museum of Natural History, The Georgia Aquarium considered one of the largest aquariums in the world and the Atlanta Zoo.
There are several museums including the Children's Museum of Atlanta and the High Museum of Art. A fun diversion is the Center for Puppetry Arts where you can see the show, build your own puppet and visit the museum.

The Cyclorama is also worth a visit for kids. In the 1880s, before there were movies, there were so called Cycloramas. Next to the Cyclorama is the Civil War Museum.
There are also hiking opportunities in Sweetwater Creek and Chattahoochee Nature Center.
Of course if you want thrills, look no further than Six Flags over Georgia Amusement park. There you can check out their attractions including Monster Mansion: Join the monsters at the mansion in this re-designed interactive family ride, new for 2009, the Dahlonega Mine Train: Take a trip on this kid–friendly mine train that was Six Flags' first roller coaster!
Other fun rides at Six Flags include: Ride the Log Flume: Take a trip through rapids and over waterfalls just like the old time Georgia loggers. Visit Tweety's Clubhouse: Take a ride with Tweety as you soar above Bugs Bunny World! and ride Wile E. Coyote Canyon Blaster: A mild roller coaster for kids. If it is hot outside, you can venture to Skull Island: Cool off and have fun in this family water play area! (open seasonally) The Looney Tunes Characters stroll around the park for you to meet. There is even a Wii™ Experience: Try out Nintendo's latest platform and see what's new on the Wii.
Other Atlanta attractions include a visit to the Atlanta Federal Reserve bank where you can tour this specialty museum.
